This year as well, Malak Regency Hotel thoughtfully organized the iftar, reaffirming its continued support and understanding for children without parental care. The evening began with a warm course – topa and soup – and continued with a rich buffet offering a variety of restaurant specialties, carefully prepared to give every child a sense of attention and dignity.
In such moments, what matters most is what cannot be seen at first glance – the feeling of being truly welcome.
After the iftar, the evening took on a quieter, yet deeper dimension.
The director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, together with a girl from the Small Family Home in Sokolović Kolonija, performed the final taraweeh prayer of this Ramadan at the Central Mosque in Ilidža.
Without many words, but with a strong feeling – this taraweeh marked the closing of a month filled with care, encounters, and moments that are not forgotten.
"Every Ramadan brings many beautiful encounters, but also reminds us how important these small, shared moments are for children. These iftars are more than organization – they are a message that someone is thinking of them. And to complete Ramadan with taraweeh alongside a child, in that quiet and peace, holds a special value for me," said Belma Mujezinović.
With this iftar and taraweeh, a special cycle has come to a close – a series of Ramadan gatherings organized by Foundation Second, with the support of partners and friends, for children without parental care.
From the first iftars to the final taraweeh, across different cities and spaces, the common thread remained the same – to provide children with a sense of warmth, care, and belonging.
Because what remains after Ramadan are not just the days that have passed – but the feelings those days have left behind.
